MARYLAND HANDGUN QUALIFICATION LICENSE (HQL)

MARYLAND CONCEAL & CARRY PERMIT

This course covers all standards set forth by the State of Maryland for the concealed carry permit. The initial certification includes 16 hours of combined classroom and range training, including a qualification course at the firing range. At the end of this course if the student passes the qualification course, they will receive the documentation necessary for their application to the MD State Police. 2B Armed Protective Services, LLC does not guarantee the acceptance of this application by the MD State Police.

DC CONCEAL PERMIT

This course covers all standards set forth by the District of Columbia for the concealed carry permit. The initial certification includes 16 hours of combined classroom and range training, including a qualification course at the firing range. At the end of this course if the student passes the qualification course, they will receive the documentation necessary for their application to the DC State Police. 2B Armed Protection Services LLC does not guarantee the acceptance of this application by the DC State Police.

UTAH CONCEAL & CARRY 

This class consists of 4-hours of classroom instruction only. There is NO range time or “live-fire” component required to apply for the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP). During this class, this following topics will be discussed: Application Process, Firearm Safety, Situational Awareness and Applicable Law. Upon successful completion of this class, each student will receive their Utah application form, weapon familiarity certification stamp.

SHOOTING LESSON 

Each Shooting Lesson includes a safety lecture detailing the basic parts of firearms, proper firearm safety/handling, and shooting fundamentals. Shooters will then spend time live firing on the range with targets, ammunition, and firearms provided by 2B Armed Protective Services.

MAX CONCEAL COURSE

This is a 16-hour multi-jurisdiction approved firearms safety training class that satisfies the training requirements to apply for the Maryland Concealed “Wear and Carry” Permit, the D.C. Concealed Carry Permit, the Utah Conceal and Virginia Concealed Carry Permit and the Maryland Armed Guard Permit. This class is for residents and non-residents who wish to apply for the INITIAL Concealed Carry Permit in Maryland, D.C. Utah and/or Virginia. This class is also for Maryland Armed Security Officers that need the initial firearms training required by the Maryland State Police to carry a firearm in Maryland in connection with their employment.
